Annual National Accounts Survey FORMS

The Economic and Statistics Office (ESO) has embarked on a project to produce annual national accounts statistics for the Cayman Islands in accordance with the System of National Accounts (SNA) issued by the United Nations Statistical Commission. These accounts are intended to provide a systematic and comprehensive record of the economic performance of the various sectors in the Cayman Islands.

As in all countries that have implemented the SNA, Cayman's national accounts will be based on data collected through surveys of businesses, non-profit institutions and government establishments. The SNA Survey questionnaire is sent to all active establishments in the ESO Register of Establishments but an electronic copy can be downloaded from the ESO's website.

We are earnestly seeking your cooperation in completing and returning the survey form by June 7, 2019. Completion of the questionnaire is a legal requirement under Sections 11 and 14 of the Statistics Law (2016 Revision) and is therefore MANDATORY. Your response is safe, confidential and will be used exclusively for the compilation of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the Cayman Islands. Section 17 of the Statistics Law prohibits the communication or publication of individual or identifiable business information. Statistical information collected by the ESO is exempted and cannot be disclosed using the Freedom of Information Law (FOI).

If you have any difficulty in downloading or completing the questionnaire, please contact Selburn Christian at 244-4676 or [email protected] , Joseph Anderson at 244-4615 or [email protected] or Ivan McLean at 244-4619 or [email protected]
