The Economics and Statistics Office is pleased to release the 2007 Annual Foreign Trade Statistics Report.

The report presents a commentary and statistical tables on the merchandise trade of the Cayman Islands.
Some of the report’s highlights are as follows:


The total value of goods imported to the Cayman Islands fell by 0.8% moving from CI$887.5 million in 2006 to CI$881.8 million in 2007.

The value of goods exported from the Cayman Islands increased by 2.9% to CI$21.5 million.

The visible trade balance deficit improved in 2007, moving from $867.8 million in 2006 to CI $860.3 million in 2007
