GIS Spotlight features 2010 Census

It is time to start getting used to the idea of 'standing up and being counted!' GIS Spotlight is featuring the 2010 population census to be conducted by the ESO.

This ESO is of course the source for statistics and economic data about the Cayman Islands and ESO will be organising a full count of everyone residing in the Islands on Census Day in October 2010. The office will also capture comparative data on migration, language, education, employment and housing.

The show will further feature the brand new logo developed by Government Information Services (GIS) for ESO's census campaign, inspired by the work of acclaimed Caymanian visionary artist, 'Miss Lassie.' The campaign's theme is "2010 Everyone Counts".

The programme will air as follows: On Monday, 8 December on Cayman 27 at 6:45pm with a repeat at 10:45pm; On Thursday, 11 December on Island 24 at 6:30pm.
