Annual National Accounts Survey
|
The Economic and Statistics Office (ESO) has embarked on a project to produce annual national accounts statistics for the Cayman Islands in accordance with the System of National Accounts (SNA) issued by the United Nations Statistical Commission. These accounts are intended to provide a systematic and comprehensive record of the economic performance of the various sectors in the Cayman Islands.
As in all countries that have implemented the SNA, Cayman’s national accounts will be based on data collected through surveys of businesses, non-profit institutions and government establishments. A hard copy of the SNA Survey questionnaire is sent to all active establishments in the ESO Register of Establishments but an electronic copy can be downloaded from the ESO’s website.
